Workshop Structure
  • 10:00am – 10:30am: Introduction of fractures, general principles of fracture management, Gustilo Anderson Classification
  • 10:30am – 12:00pm: Upper limb fractures common types and management
  • 12:10pm – 1:00pm: Upper limb fractures clinical case discussion and hand on practice in applying slings/cast/bandage.
  • 1:00pm – 1:50pm: Lunch break
  • 1:50pm – 3.20pm: Lower limb fractures common types and management
  • 3:20pm – 4:00pm: Clinical case discussion and hand on practice of applying slings/cast/bandage

Learning Outcomes

At the completion of this workshop students would have gained knowledge about common fracture types in Australia and management. Participants will also receive a certificate with CPD points for attending the workshop.

Additional learning outcomes include:

  • Ability to communicate empathically and effectively the explanation of the fractures and possible outcomes.
  • Ability to identify the red flags and explore for potential complications including neurological or multisystem involvement.
  • Ability to identify different types of fractures and manage acutely injured patients.
  • Ability to outline the proper management plan based on all findings including history, examination and investigation.
  • Ability to provide patient-centred care.
Enrolment & Refund Policy

At ARIMGSAS, we are committed to fairness, transparency, and compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). The following outlines our policies for enrolment, cancellation, and postponement for workshops, applicable to both domestic and international candidates.

1. Enrolment Terms

  • To enrol, select your preferred workshop date and click ‘Add to Cart’.
  • The full workshop fee is payable at the time of application.
  • Payment in full confirms your place in the selected workshop.
  • Applications close two (2) weeks prior to the workshop start date.
  • A 1% surcharge applies to payments made via PayPal and Stripe.

2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or remedy if:

  • The service is not delivered with due care and skill
  • The service is not fit for its intended purpose
  • The service is not delivered within a reasonable timeframe

These rights exist in addition to the specific conditions listed in this policy.

3. Refunds and Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend:

  • You may nominate a substitute participant to attend in your place at no additional charge, provided written notice is received at least two (2) weeks prior to the workshop start date.
  • Alternatively, you may request to postpone your enrolment to a future workshop (subject to availability), by giving at least two (2) weeks notice.
  • A $60 rescheduling fee applies to each postponement request.
  • The rescheduling fee is non-refundable, regardless of any future withdrawal or cancellation.
  • If postponement or substitution requests are received less than two (2) weeks before the workshop start date, they will not be accepted, and the full workshop fee will be forfeited.

If you cancel your purchase:

  • No refunds will be provided if you cancel your enrolment, regardless of the reason or notice period.

4. Immediate Implementation

This policy and any updates take immediate effect upon being published at www.arimgsas.com.au. All candidates are responsible for reviewing the latest policy at the time of enrolment.
