Alan is the Managing Director at ARIMGSAS, which conduct courses and workshops for International Medical Graduates preparing to practise in Australia or are preparing for the Australian Medical Councils Examinations. Alan has over Thirty years’ experience in all areas of Australian Medical Education.

His previous Positions include:

  • Lecturer at University of Melbourne Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
  • Co-Ordinator of Bridging Courses Victorian Medical Post Graduate Foundation (VMPF)
  • Consultant National Languages and Literacy Institute
  • Lecturer at Victoria University English for Health Professionals
  • Co-Ordinator and Author of the course English for Health Professionals at Victoria University.
  • Lecturer at University of Melbourne- Faculty of Dentistry and Health Sciences; Working with 4th 5th and 6th year medical students on the wards on Doctor/patient communication.

Naz Hall joins ARIMGSAS as an Office Manager after spending over 20 years with the Casino in Hobart and most recently as an Office Manager with Vicinity Centres. She brings over 25 years of managerial experience. Naz is responsible for the overall office administration and operation, as well as providing executive and administrative support to the Director.

Sonam joined Alan Roberts International Medical Graduates Supports and Advisory Services (ARIMGSAS) in 2016 as part of our frontlines team. She is our first point of contact as well as our go-to for many special projects across the organization.

She graduated from India and did her Certificate III in Business Administration (MEDICAL) from Navitas Health Skills Australia. Her area of expertise is Administrative Support based on Qualification and previous experience.

Sonam has a passion for meeting new people and enjoys keeping busy. In her spare time she likes to learn about new technology, reading books and writing poems.

Sally began working at ARIMGSAS in February 2014 as an Accountant and has since moved on to become the Office Manager. She hold a Master of Commerce from Griffith University- Queensland.
Her past experience includes working in the Accounting, Health and Financial Services sector.
Sally works with the team at ARIMGSAS to streamline business functions within the organisation.
When not working Sally enjoys playing Badminton and catching up with friends and family.

Mia Maureen Mejos is the Accounts and Operations Officer of the ARIMGSAS Team. She is mainly in-charge of the accounts receivable, debtor follow ups, but also assist the Support Services officers in their tasks.

She finished her degree in accounting in the Philippines, and did further studies here in Australia. She loves to travel. Photography is her passion as well. She enjoys taking photos of sceneries when she visits different places.

Hi! My name is Margarette Cortez, an international student here in Australia. I’m a Registered Nurse in the Philippines and an NCLEX Passer (State of Nevada, USA).

I’ve been working in a hospital back in my country for 2 years before I’ve decided to pursue my career here. Right now, I’m working part-time as a Student Support under the Administration Team of ARIMGSAS.

My interests include shopping for latest trends, venturing out new things and places, reading and watching romantic movies, socializing with family and friends, travelling and exploration.

Having over 30 years’ experience on computers, Darryn started programming computers on a Commodore VIC-20 on a TV at the age of 7 and has been working on them on and off ever since.

In 1992 he took three years out of IT to become a Small Engine Mechanic and then from 1994 until 2005 he was Production Manager, General Manager and Director of three different large pharmaceutical companies, before heading to NMIT then Monash University to gain a Bachelor and Advanced Diploma in Information Technology.

In 2015 Darryn joined the team at ARIMGSAS.

I’m Tracy Candolita, working under student services at ARIMGSAS. Finished Bachelor of Nursing and a registered nurse in Philippines. Currently studying Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University.

I like taking photos of sceneries and people. I like going out with friends and trying new cuisines. Working in ARIMGSAS gives the opportunity to meet different people from different background.

Hold full-time position of Company Accountant in ARIMGSAS from April 2015. Graduated from RMIT and hold Master degree of Professional Accounting since 2007 and became Australian CPA member in 2011.

Have more than 5 years accounting and small business training & advisory experiences across various industries such as childcare, franchise retail business, wireless technology sector etc.

Enjoy cooking, travelling with family member and playing with 2 little kids on spare time.

Dr Laura Papillo is a local medical graduate from the University of Melbourne, with a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

Laura has a unique combination of skills that allow her to help make a difference to IMGs wanting to improve their cross-cultural communication skills and show the best representation of themselves to prospective employers. This combination of skills comes from her diverse experiences working as a medical doctor in Victorian hospitals, teaching English as a foreign language overseas, working as an assistant editor on Australian textbooks, and role-playing at AMC clinical examinations.
